Elon Musk is a Genius, and the Tesla CyberTruck is proof, but it’s not the amazing engineering, or rugged good looks LOL, and the Reason WHY YOU HAVE TO GET THE CYBERTRUCK!
Elon Musk, when he announced the CyberTruck, created a buzz that saved Tesla millions of dollars in advertising and when the glass failed at the reveal of the CyberTruck, this added to the hype, curiosity, and questions about Tesla’s ability to sell the CyberTruck.
I have talked to several people about this, and because of the polarization of the design, which is a hate it or love it relationship, they don’t get the point of the value of getting a CyberTruck.
Let me regress a bit to a few years ago to when the Smart Car was released. In North America, when people saw the Smart Car driving down a superhighway (sorry this was what I thought personally) thought a death trap on wheels BUT because of this, people looked at the Smart Car and talked about the Smart Car (Free Advertising).
NOW to the point of why mentioned the Smart Car, someone came up with the idea to wrap advertising around this tiny car.
Why?
Because of the curiosity of people to look at this tiny car driving down the road.
Now, this is where if you hate the design of the CyberTruck, you need to suck it up and get one. Since this is Tesla’s first forays into building one fo the most popular vehicles, the truck which hadn’t changed much since way back when trucks were first designed is so radically different; it will be an ADVERTISING MAGNET.
If you don’t think it will be a magnet that will draw eyeballs to look at the truck, then what rock have you been hiding under?
Now, this is where it becomes interesting because there is so much interest because of the radical design that BILLIONS of eyeballs will want to catch a glimpse of the Tesla CyberTruck.
Here are some statistics I found on Intuit’s website about vehicle advertising.
- In the US today, “individual vehicle advertising generates between 30,000-70,000 daily vehicular impressions,” according to ARD Ventures.
- “Mobile advertising generates 2.5 times more attention than a static billboard,” says Perception Research.
- “Messages on outdoor mobile billboards have a 97% recall rate,” RYP & Becker Group indicates.
The statistics are actually for standard vehicles SO add in a CyberTruck, and I am sure that seeing your ad on a vehicle that is hyped, hot, unique, and talked about will make a ginormous impression on anyone who sees YOUR advertising.
With that in mind, think of low cost, which, would include the price of the truck plus the cost of the graphics = PROFITS
Although most people would say the cost is too high and to some degree, that may be the case for some but think of it this way.
- You need a truck for your business
- You need to advertise
- Cost of an Electric Vehicle is much less expensive to maintain and operate
- You wouldn’t need a portable generator since the CyberTruck has the power to run your electrical equipment on site
- And you will save the environment (Yes for the Tree Huggers)
You are now convinced, right? Then check out the CyberTruck on the Tesla website at https://www.tesla.com/cybertruck
